This thing is a workhorse.The upside: This completely streamlines the process and saves tons of time. It comes with quite a bit of cones, I’d like to say 20 maybe in the box and so far each one I make has been perfect and burns evenly. It really is shop quality.The machine goes quite well on it’s own and has plenty of hopper space so don’t be stingy. Work with more material than less helps push it down by gravity and the dials of speed and such can be adjusted I just left it on standard or one click over. Works good, with little quirks.Downside: No off button. There is an ON button, but doesn’t turn it off. Only stops when unplugging or when it’s completely finished (I.E – cone drops out) and it shuts off. This was a little wierd to me, but workable around it.The small plastic case for the cone is useless and doesn’t protect bottom, cap is wierd twist instead of flip top. Will be ok for one use or to tuck inside a hat but won’t last a pocket or sitting or traveling. The bottom tray on left side is only 1/2 long. plastic piece should have been a full lipped tray all the way to the end, it’s kind of a downer on this one. Spillage, but acceptable.You do need to constantly feed the auger (the spinning spring) with small brushstrokes with the included brush into the auger but the grinder does a superb job, and sometimes you need to help it along as well if you don’t put enough material in there.Overall things considered, this is a wicked good pickup although my first automatic roller so I may be a tad biased over how cool it is to use and prep multiple at once. I haven’t the need to change out the augers or size, what came installed worked fine in the cones provided.
