I mainly use it to clip my cigars to the arm rest of my camping chair when I get up to get something from the car or another drink.I have found this clip super useful even outside my camping trips as well, such as clipping it to a working surface when doing projects in the garage, or clamping it on the rail of a pier for those occasional fishing days. I no longer have to worry about having my cigar rolling off a surface. I typically clip Toro size cigars to this and this clip handles it well, the spring of the smaller jaw (where you would clip your cigar to) has enough tension to hold the cigars while also being gentle on the outer wrapper of the cigar.The only drawback that I found is that the larger jaw could have more clamping power, to make it feel extra solid when you clamp it down. I have not had the main jaw fail on me or not wanting to clamp to most surfaces in the year of ownership, the extra clamping power may be a personal preference.This clip is 5/5 and well worth the money.
